About Us
SportCrafters - Formed in 1996, our mission is to lead the industry in affordable quality with refreshing new designs. Everything is manufactured at our small Granger shop with precision manufacturing equipment. We have sold our products under many private labels, so any similarity of our products to other brands is not coincidence. We develop our own designs and build most of our own tooling. All production machines are meticulously maintained and calibrated for precision. We purchase raw materials in high volume directly from local U.S. steel mills, extrusion mills, and injection molders to maintain high quality consistency.
In 2007, we purchased a large building to serve our growing manufacturing needs, and opened a small bike shop in front (Spin Zone Cycling) as a dba of SportCrafters. Spin Zone grew rapidly as the top competitive bike shop in the region, and we still share the building.

Pete Colan – Founder, owner, designer, triathlete, runner, occasionally races a tandem MTB with his wife. Has recently learned to dress himself. |

Pat Kulwicki – Product manager, engineer, mountain biker, road biker, races for Spin Zone Racing. Hopes to one day learn how to swim. Pat always dreamed of building rollers, even as a young child. While all the other kids drew pictures of horsies and birdies, Pat was busy designing...

Sarah Houser - Marketing Manager, mountain biker, organizer, pianist, singer, dancer, and the only one at SportCrafters that has performed at Carnegie Hall. She gave all that up to work for us... now THAT's a compliment!

Bob Constable - Does anything and everything, and does it well. Paddler, mountain biker, triathlete. He doesn't do email so don't bother looking for an address, and he won't use GPS in the car, I have no idea why.

Ruby - Shop mascot and triathlete. Ruby swims, runs, and performs agility in our Doggie Duathlon www.dulikeadog.net Like Bob, she doesn't do email. But she's got more hair than Bob. And Pete.
